Norman Mickelborough

Norman S. Mickelborough, age 48, of Gloucester, VA, a native of Bohannon in Mathews, VA, departed this life on Saturday, July 25, 2015 in Riverside-Walter Reed Hospital. Norman briefly served as a member of the Mathews Volunteer Fire Dept., Bohannon Station # 2. He was a member of Emanuel United Methodist Church. He is survived by his parents, Garnett Lee & Doris Mickelborough; a brother, Robert and his wife Rhonda Mickelborough; a sister, Sue Mickelborough; aunt, Anne South; an uncle, Johnny Mickelborough; a special cousin, Wilson Roane as well as many other cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, VA. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Providence Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions made to Emanuel UMC Further Educational Fund, 84 Grace Street, Mobjack, VA 23056.
