Norman Taylor

Norman B. “Dickie” Taylor, age 86, of Chesterfield passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center after a twelve year struggle with Alzheimers. He worked for the former Mason-Dixon Trucking Company and retired from Teamsters Local 592 working in the movie industry. Dickie never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He was predeceased by a son, Terry Blaine Taylor and is survived by his wife, Patricia C. Taylor; daughter, Jan Taylor; step-son, Greg Patterson; sister, Alvine Taylor Hurd, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Dickie was a true definition of a Southern Gentleman. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday December 10th in Clarksbury United Methodist Church, Hardyville with burial in Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery, Deltaville. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
