Patricia Ann Parker, 56, was born to Shirley and Frankie Taylor of Caret, Virginia on December 23, 1965. Pat attended schools in Essex County, and graduated from Essex High School. She was baptized at Upper Essex Baptist Church as a child.
After graduation, Pat worked at French’s Market as a cashier. She also worked at Dominion Bank as a window clerk for a couple of years. While working at the bank, she attended and graduated from the Rappahannock Criminal Justice Academy as a Reserve Deputy. She was part of the Northern Neck Narcotics Task Force, and worked for the Bareford Buick dealership for a few years as a financial assistant. After leaving Bareford Buick, she worked for Cato’s Fashion until her illness in 2020.
Pat met her life long companion while on the task force. Pat and Darryl Parker were married in 2004. From this marriage, a daughter was born, Taylor Nicole Parker on October 21, 2001.
Pat gained stepchildren from Darryl’s previous marriage; Michael Braxton and Tiffany Parker (Keith.) Pat also has two step-grandchildren, Kyra Fauntleroy and Karter Fauntleroy
Pat leaves to cherish one brother, Jay Taylor (Amy); mother-in-law, Elsie Parker; brother-in-law, Gary Parker; a very special friend, Shirley Wooten; nephew, Ryan Parker; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
