Patricia "Patty" Skelton Courtney

Patricia “Patty” Skelton Courtney, 66, of Warsaw, formerly of Tappahannock passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents Linwood and Mary Skelton, her daughter Tabatha Lynn Coates and her brother David “Bubba” Skelton. Patty is survived by four sons Stephen Michael Skelton of Warsaw, Robert Lewis Courtney, Jr., John Patrick Courtney of Aylett and David Paul Courtney of Tappahannock; her daughter, Amanda Dawn Courtney of King William; one brother, Ralph Skelton of Tappahannock; two sisters Sue Carneal of Tappahannock and Tammy Schools of Dunnsville; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2020 in the Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock. Interment will follow in Essex Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
