Paul Gibson

Paul Gibson, Sr., 75, of Newport News and Mathews, passed away at his home September 17, 2016 with his family beside him. He was a self-employed truck driver and he and his dog "Peepers" traveled many miles together. Paul was a one-in-a-million guy, he never met a stranger and always put everyone else before himself. Paul was an animal lover and loved telling jokes. He will be very loved and missed always.

Paul is survived by his children; Cheryl Gary, Tanya Filer (Daniel), Paul J. Gibson, Jr., Michael Gibson (Rita), Gary Gibson (Amber), Daniel Gibson (Tracy), Trena Willoughby (Bill); Robert Tilley (Robin), 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sister, Helen Brown; aunt Rose Hudgins, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his special caregivers, Pat and Frank Wilson and Patricia Owens.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. Burial was at Spring Hill Cemetery, Cobbs Creek, Va.
