Paul Theodore Thatcher, 69, of Caret, Virginia also a former resident of Pemberton Boro, NJ, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Healey, Rita Thatcher, and Catherine Thatcher; and his brother, Joseph Thatcher.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Joyce (Delaney) Thatcher; his sons, Charles, Michael, Paul P., David, and Abraham Thatcher; his daughter, Catherine Thatcher (Eager); grandchildren, Devon, Bryson, Liam, Cameron, and Lydia; sister, Pat Volpine; and brothers, Charles, David, and Michael Thatcher.
Paul loved red Wine and Wine-making, and driving his old Jeep relaxed him. He enjoyed Japanese Animation, Genealogy, and maintaining the Family Tree. He was a beloved Subject Matter Expert of all occupations in the current universe. He enjoyed Moody Blues and singing aloud, badly, while wearing headphones. He was avidly into baking, and a pretty good cook. For some reason, he really liked tuna fish and egg-salad sandwiches when he made them for himself, and for some odd reason, he always ordered a turkey club with fries and coleslaw every single time we ordered out. His goofy faces and Dad jokes were his trademark, and he was constantly taking pictures and videos. His Sesame Street Ernie-like laugh was so contagious. He's so loved and already sorely missed.
