Peter Batley

Peter David Batley, age 77, of Deltaville a retired waterman, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013. He was a member and deacon of Zoar Baptist Church, Deltaville. Survived by his wife Katherine Marie Batley; children, Susan B. Morgan (Bill), Donald Batley (Laurie Ann), Peter K. Batley (Trisha), Diane Batley Dalsaso (Timothy), six grandchildren; brother, Gordon Batley. Funeral services will be held 3:00pm Saturday, April 13th in Philippi Christian Church, Deltaville. Interment will be in Philippi Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Deltaville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Zoar Baptist Church, Building Fund, PO Box 1010 or Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad, PO Box 98 both in Deltaville, VA 23043.
