Phillip Ray White, Jr. of Deltaville went to be with his heavenly Father suddenly Saturday, September 13, 2014. He was 53 years old. He is predeceased by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. George Freeman Madison, an uncle, James Freeman Madison, his father in law, Paul S. Green Jr., and his stepfather and stepmother Mr. and Mrs. John R. Croxton Jr. Phillip leaves to cherish his memory, his wife and best friend of 30 years, Vicki Green White, their daughter Kimberley Madison White-Franks, and son in law, Taylor Harrison Franks of Williamsburg. Phillip loved the Lord and served in all aspects of his church, Zoar Baptist, from Sunday school superintendent to drummer of the Sunday beach service and church services, he especially loved playing with his daughter, Madison, on the piano during church services. He was a member of the band “Spreading Joy”. Phillip also helped establish the youth group as a leader for 5 years and touched many young people’s lives. Phillip worked most of his adult life in the automotive field in Middlesex County and the Northern Neck. His current position was Service Manager of Medlin Ford in West Point. He also leaves his mother, Mary Jane Madison Wager of White Stone, sister, Candi Millen (Ricky) of Gloucester, and brothers Johnny Croxton of Gloucester and Anthony Croxton of West Point. He also leaves his father, Phillip Ray White, Sr. (Becky), and brothers Bobby (Brenda) and Melvin White (Harriet) all of Richmond. In addition he leaves, his mother in law, Joyce Green Reisinger of Tappahannock, brother in law, Paul S. Green III (Cindy) of Abingdon, sister in law Kimberley Green Cox (Jeff) of Hardyville and many nieces and nephews. Also extended family members, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Benson of Deltaville, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Boyd of North Carolina, Angela Berry of Gloucester, VA, Penney Baldoni of Delaware, and Wayne Thomas of Gloucester. He also leaves many friends who he loved. In addition, he leaves behind his fur children, Ro Ro and Sassy, and his fur grandchildren, Dixie and Kit Kat. In May, he walked his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day, which was a joyous time for the whole family. Phillip had a large heart and loved many and always found the good in all people. He will be greatly missed by many close friends and family. Funeral services will be held at Zoar Baptist Church at 11 o’clock in the morning Wednesday, September 17th, where an interment will follow in the church cemetery. After the interment, the family requests that friends and family return to Zoar Baptist Church’s fellowship hall for food and to visit with the family. Also, the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, September 16th at Zoar Baptist Church’s sanctuary.
