Polly Bryant

Polly Elaine Armstrong Bryant, age 87, was taken to Heaven on June 4, 2018. Her life was lived in honor of Jesus Christ, her Savior. She was devoted to her family and her church. As a military wife, she traveled this country, served in local churches and made many friends. Polly was the daughter of Richard T. and Bernice Taylor Armstrong of Middlesex County, Va. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Taylor Armstrong. To cherish her sweet memory are her daughters; Linda Smith (Larry), Susan Russell (Tom), Karen Crisp, Paula McGowan (Chris), Wanda Bryant, and her son Donald Bryant (Carol); 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and three on the way; her sisters, Rebecca Armstrong Wyatt, Joyce Armstrong Frayser (Jimmy); brother, Bobby Armstrong (Barbara); sister-in-law, Alice Armstrong; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be at Forest Chapel UMC, Saluda, Virginia, on Friday June 8th at 11 AM, with memorial service at 12:00. Reception to follow.
