R. Lawrence Ryman

R. Lawrence Ryman, Sr., 84, of Remlik, son of the late Raymond and Vally Ryman passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. He was an active and very dedicated member of Remlik Wesleyan Church. As a young man, Lawrence started working on the Remlik Hall Turkey Farm in the hatchery. He then retired from Ryman’s Air Conditioning and Heating with forty-five years of service.

Also predeceased by a sister, Vertie Shoaff and a brother, Otis Ryman.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Bray Ryman; son, R.L. Ryman, Jr., sister, Ethel Mills; grandson, Ryan Ryman (Christyn); great granddaughters, Savannah, Sierra and Kelsie. Lawrence was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Remlik Wesleyan Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church.
