Raymond Parker

Raymond Michael Parker Sr., 64, of Dunnsville, Virginia passed away on Monday, July 18th 2022. He was the owner/operator of Essex Masonry Inc., and helped establish Parker Towing Inc.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lee Tate; grandparents, James Wesley Akers, and Nancy Akers; and his brother, Ralph J. Parker (Tony).

He is survived by his wife, Darlene; sons, John Christopher Newcomb (Tara), Raymond Michael Parker Jr. (Kim), Charles Vinson Parker Sr., and Richard Travis Parker Sr; grandchildren, Megan, Vince, Tre’s, Madison, Haley, T.J., Raven, Austin, Carley, Brantley, Ainsley and Liam; siblings, Nancy Talbert (Michael), William Troy Tate, Sr. (Tammy), David Minter (Olivia), Jerri Lynn Langford, and Tammy Lee Tate; and several other family members.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22nd, 2022 at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Davis-Stokes Cemetery, Dunnsville, Virginia.
