Richard Albert Parker

Mr. Richard A. Parker passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024. He was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. Richard loved fishing, going out on his boat, and going to yard sales.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 76 years, Grace T. Parker and grandson, Timothy.

Mr. Parker is survived by his sons; R. David Parker (Ruby) and Stephen M. Parker; daughter, Carol P. Burnett; granddaughters, Michele and Jennifer; grandson, Troy; six great grandchildren and one great - great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14 2024, at Harmony Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Barbara Filling officiating.   Interment will follow at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery, Deltaville. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bristow Faulkner Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Harmony Grove Baptist Church, 7722 General Puller Hwy, Locust Grove, Va. 23092 or to Riverside Hospice, 7358 Main St., Gloucester, Va., 23061
