Richard Zimmerman

Richard J. Zimmerman, 88, of Water View, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 19, 2018. He is survived by his wife Barbara; daughters, Michele Brune (Russ), Noele Anglin (Mike) and grandchildren, Megan and Abby Anglin and Matthew Brune.
He served as a priest in the Diocese of Harrisburg, Pa. for eighteen years and later moved to Va. in 1975. He was the first Director of the MPMN Substance Abuse Program.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Saturday, November 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Visitation, Topping. Interment church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1503 Michaels Rd. Henrico, Va. 23229 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tn. 38105. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel is assisting the family.
