Robert Darnell

Robert E. “Bobby” Darnell, age 69, of Topping died Monday, June 22, 2015. He retired from the Chesapeake Corporation with forty-three years of service and was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. Survived by his wife of fifty years, Christine “Teeny” Darnell; a son, Jay Darnell (Angie); a brother, Wilbert “Woodles” Darnell; a grandson, Robert Aaron Darnell; a granddaughter, Melinda Sue Darnell and one great grandson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 25th in Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be in Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Topping. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts can be made to Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
