Robert Leslie Hammond, III

Robert Leslie Hammond, III of Warsaw, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 17, 2024, his 53^rd birthday. He was a 1989 graduate of Rappahannock High School, Warsaw. Rob loved to laugh, and told great stories. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed playing any chance he got.
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Leslie Hammond Jr. and his step-father, P.L. Hardy, Jr; his grandparents, Madeline Hammond and Robert L. Hammond Sr., and Jean Anderson, all of Tappahannock.
 
Rob is survived by his mother, Sharon Roberts Hardy; his sisters, Lindsey Clark Floyd (Chad), and Carey Clark; his brother, Jason Clark (Tracy); his aunts, Janet Brizendine (Mike) and Helen “Kitty” Head (Joel); nieces, Ainsley Davis and Charlotte Marks; nephews, Tyler Clark, Carter Clark, and Bronner Packett.
 
A memorial service for Rob will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock, Virginia. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
