Robert Hartman

Robert Joseph Hartman of Locust Hill, passed on November 24th, 2014 at the age of 83, in the manner he had wished and in the manner his family hoped for. Survived by 4 sons, Blase of Lansdale, PA, Brian of Easton, PA, Robert Jr. of Mountain View, CA, William Hartman of Cape Coral, FL; 9 grandchildren, and loving partner of many years Jenny Agnor (adored as Grand Jenny by all his children and grandchildren ) of Locust Hill, VA.

Born in Petaluma, CA. Played football for the University of Oregon. Obtained a B.S. in Geophysics. Drafted by the Detroit Lions. Korean War Veteran. Pioneering computer programmer for the North American Aerospace Defense Command. Computer time-sharing business entrepreneur. Division Manager and Board Member of chemical and pharmaceutical companies. Home builder. Fisherman, Sailor, Skier. Adventurer. Dog lover. 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Rotary Club Member. Church of the Visitation council member. Most of all loving and much beloved father and grandfather. We will dearly miss your gusto, smile, and at-the-ready booming laugh Dad.

The funeral service will be held Monday, December 8 at 10:00am with visitation from 9:00 to 10:00am in the Church of the Visitation, Topping.
