Robert Lee “Butch” Woodard, 76, of Deltaville, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021. He was the son of the late Bedford D. Woodard, Sr. and MaeBelle Herrell Woodard Guenther. Robert was a retired construction superintendent building many commercial projects. Butch also enjoyed fishing, cooking and playing cards and was past governor and treasurer of the Middlesex Moose Lodge #2401.
He was also predeceased by a son, Robbie Woodard and brothers, Herrell, J.D., William “Billy” and B.D. Jr. “Junior”. Also predeceased by sisters, Virginia Wilson and Margaret Sue Richard.
Butch is survived by his wife of fifty years, Virginia Carter Woodard; a daughter, Catherine Woodard Jordan; a son, Chris Stanley; a sister, Della Delbridge; sister-in-law, Delma Woodard, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
