Roberta Chilcoat

Roberta Dutile Chilcoat, of Urbanna, left us too soon on November 15, 2023, at the age of 68, with her daughter by her side.

Mrs. Chilcoat was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline Lescard and Arthur Dutile; her husband, Bob Chilcoat; sister, Susan Sharp; brother, Joe Dutile and her stepson, Jason Yetzer.

Survivors include her daughter, Emily Yetzer-Jones (Anne); grandson, Reid Yetzer; sisters, Marie Parker (Bob) and Vickie Barnes; sister-in-law, Pam Dutile; and three generations of nieces and nephews.

Roberta graduated from Douglas Freeman in 1973.   After moving to Urbanna, she fell in love with small town living.  She loved putting her crab pot out in the harbor, shopping the sales at her favorite store, Cindy’s Brynn, and checking out nearby small towns. She especially loved visits from her grandson, Reid.  Roberta was a free spirit with a great wit and a great love for family and friends. She will be missed.
