Roberta Major

Roberta Palmore Major, born June 11, 1938, died peacefully at home in Stormont on February 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas M, Major. She is survived by her son, Tommy (Carol); daughter, Terri (Wallace); grandchildren, Katlin, Kelly, Trey, and Abigail; siblings Thomas Palmore, Janet Carson, Frances Hodson, Bobby Palmore, and Donald Palmore. She was also preceded in death by siblings Earl Palmore, Eugenia Cecil, and Franklin Palmore. Roberta was an active member of Saluda Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending sporting events of her children and grandchildren and hosting family and friends in her home. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday February 24. Visitation will proceed the funeral starting at 12pm at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home, Saluda.
