Roger Paul Flick, Jr, 55, of King & Queen County, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 1st, 2022, in the comfort of his own home.
He was born March 3rd, 1967, in Louisiana. He was a hard worker at his career as a HVAC / Refrigeration technician for many years. He could fix anything that was broken and was extremely mechanically inclined. He loved to build race cars or trucks and had a passion for drag racing. He was a jack of all trades. Lastly, he loved and cared for both of his German Shepherds, Lincoln and Koyla.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Bowman and survived by his wife Heather Wickizer Seggelink and his father, Roger Paul Flick, Sr, including his children, Kaci Flick (Dalton) of King George, VA, Destiny Oliver, (Tyler) of Smithfield, VA, Heather Morris, Sarah Brooks, Jacob Seggelink; his beloved grandson, Grayson James Oliver; his sister’s Shannan Maxey (Keith) of Bossier City, LA, Kelly Johnson (Jimmy) of Frierson, LA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm Friday, Sept. 30th, 2022, at Dominion Raceway in Woodford, VA for a memorial gathering to honor his legacy of drag racing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, to help cancer patients receive the support they need and fund lifesaving research.
