Ruby Covert

Ruby Ellen Napier Covert, 94, of Tappahannock, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to watch her soap operas, cooking, and at one time, sewing as well.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Covert; son, Ronnie Dolan; and uncle, Red Napier.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Dolan, of Newport News; grandson, Stephen Wade Dolan Jr. of Hampton; and many other relatives.

A funeral service will be held at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Special thanks to the staff at Carrington Place, for their continued love and care. Also, thank you to Dr. Robert Briggs for 30 years of care.
