Russell Pugh

Russell "Mason" Pugh, age 88, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015. He was a lifelong self-employed commercial fisherman and a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Peary, Virginia, a member of the Masonic Lodge, Oriental No. 20 AF & AM and Tidewater Shrine Club.

He is survived by his wife Jean Pugh, four sons, John Allen Davis (Doris), D.W. Davis (Darlene), James D. Hubbard and Roger S. Hubbard (Crystal) and Jeannie Collett, eight grandchildren, two grandsons, Perry Forrest (Jonnie) and James Rose (Margaret) and one great- granddaughter, nephew, Charles Milton Pugh and niece, Virginia Anne Shipley.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with Masonic rites conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2015 in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in St. Paul Annex Cemetery, Susan, Virginia.
