Sandra Marie Wilson

Sandra M. Wilson, age 76, of Hartfield, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Raphael and Hilda Offutt. 

During her working career, Sandra was a secretary for the Department of Agriculture while the family was living in Washington, D.C.   She loved baseball, bowling, bingo and fishing. Sandra was an amazing cook and loved trying new recipes. She was a wonderful mother and sister, but most of all an amazing grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her son, Bobby Wilson; grandsons, Matthew G. Wilson II and Thomas C. Wilson; sisters, JoAnn Higgs and Mary McIntary and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mathew G. Wilson; brother, Raphael Offutt and sister, Patricia Sue Dean.

The family would like to thank Visiting Angels and the nurses at Riverside Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation, Saluda. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 4405 Cox Rd., Suite 110, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060.
