Sherry El Maayergy

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and best friend Sherry.
On Saturday, January 30, 2021 Sherry El Maayergy passed away suddenly at her home at the age of 54. Sherry was employed at Bay Aging as a CNA, and devoted her life to caring for others.
Sherry is preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Crocker and her sister, Karen Dayrit.
Sherry will be forever remembered by her husband Hatem El Maayergy; her son Michael and his wife Samantha Crocker; their precious children Ellie, Willow and August, and by her father, Edward Crocker; her sisters, Shelly Cameron (Gregg), Jackie Gerome, Darlene Whitley (Jeff) and her best friend, Malka Granados. Sherry will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Providence Cemetery, 1 Providence Road, Foster, VA 23056. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia is assisting the family. Please be advised that current stat-mandated guidelines will apply to all in attendance, including social distancing and appropriate face coverings.
