Sheryl Kay Hugate, 71, of Hudgins, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She was formerly a resident of Williamsburg before moving to Mathews County. Sheryl was a Cable technician employed by Cox Communications for 18 years.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald R. Hugate; three sons, Ronald R. Hugate, Jr., Christopher W. Hugate, and Terry Allen Hugate; a brother, James Reynolds; three sisters, Donna Reynolds, Diana Tennis and Joyce Champion; and five grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sheryl’s memory to the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad, 94 Cricket Hill Road, Hudgins, Virginia 23076.
