SALUDA
Roy T. Soles, age 60, of Saluda, a retired carpenter, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Roy was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond A. and Christine Darnell Soles and is survived by his brother, Hugh S. Soles (Alverda); sister, Jeanette S. Holt all of Saluda; 4 nieces and 2 nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. Interment Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Gloucester. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 11408 Salem Church Road, Gloucester, VA., 23061 or Central Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad, PO Box 790, Urbanna, VA., 23175.
