Stephen Raye Forrest, 53 of Gwynn, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at his home. He was born on January 16, 1962 to Barbara Fincham and Raymond Forrest.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Melvin and Althea White of Mobjack and Carroll Lee and Della Forrest of Gwynn, and numerous uncles.
He is survived by his son, Jeremy Forrest (Nicole Germain) (granddaughter in May) of Gwynn, his mom and pops Barbara and Gordon Fincham of Gwynn, his dad and step-mother Raymond (Rainbow) and Darlene Forrest of Reedville, his brother, Tim (T-bone) Forrest of Gwynn, his sister, Lynne Martin (Rodney) of Woodford, nephew, Josh Vencill (Kayla) of King William, niece, Laura Vencill of Lynchburg, great niece Layla Vencill, aunt Sandra Williams (Roy) of Blakes and Sandra Forrest of Gwynn and numerous cousins. Steve is also survived by his best friend and companion SkyDog.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm at Foster-Faulkner Funeral home in Mathews with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 pm at Gwynn's Island Cemetery.
Steve will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but will always be in our hearts.
