Stephen Minter

Stephen Alan “Al Pal” Minter, 62 of Mathews, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

He was a graduate of Mathews High School and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Alan is predeceased by his parents, Leonard Diggs Minter Jr. and Barbara Regina Minter.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Donna Gail Minter; 2 daughters, Amanda “Nikki” Minter and Heather Minter (Nate); 5 grandchildren, Kaydence, Jayden, Nichol, Allana and Nate, Jr.; a brother, Lennie Minter; 2 sisters, Gina Rowe and Sharon DeLaurentis and also a host of other dear family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, Onemo. Burial will follow in Pear Tree Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, Nancy Rowe, P.O. Box 1104, Mathews, Virginia 23109.
