Susan Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, 69, of James Store, VA, passed away on October 20, 2018. born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully at home while surrounded by all that she loved.
She was the adored wife of Edward J. Fitzpatrick for 48 years, caring mother to her two daughters, Shanon Beam (Brad) and Erin Fitzpatrick and beloved grandmother of Maggie Beam. Sue enjoyed her home, her family, her fuzzy four-legged friends and her hometown team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A private memorial will be scheduled in the spring. The family would like to thank the staff of Riverside Walter Reed, Riverside Home Health, Riverside Hospice and Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to the Gloucester Mathews Humane Society, Post Office Box 385, Gloucester, Virginia 23061, gmhumanesociety.org. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, VA is assisting the family with arrangements.
