Teresa Dobson

Teresa Kay Dobson (Terry) 64, of Cobbs Creek, Virginia passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 4, 2022. Terry was born on June 3, 1957 in Salina, Kansas. She graduated from Central High School in 1975, then graduated Brown Mackie Business School, in 1976. Terry married Randy in 1977 while he was in the Army, stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas. They welcomed their first child Scott in 1978, and had their second child Kristin in 1981. Terry was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, who filled her days volunteering in the community. Her smile, big heart, and love to help others will be dearly missed.

Terry is survived by her husband, Randall Ashburn Dobson; a son, Randall Scott Dobson and wife Lisa; a daughter, Kristin Marie Buludis and husband Konstantinos; mother, Elizabeth Bachofer; sisters, Carol Brent, Rosemarie Novak, Danise Glavin, Mary Lu Triplett; a brother, Mike Bachofer; grandchildren, Allen, Emma, Alyssa, Nikolas, and Kameron.

She was predeceased in death by her father, Daniel Bachofer.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Francis de Sales. Following the mass, she will be laid to rest at H. C. Smither Memorial Cemetery in Hudgins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Terry’s name to Hands Across Mathews.
