Terry Blake

Terry A. Blake, age 56, of Hartfield went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 5, 2012, after a battle with brain cancer, with his family by his side.  He was a lifelong resident of Middlesex, a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church, a graduate ofMiddlesexHigh School, and was self-employed.He is preceded in death by his father, Russell J. Blake; and sister-in-law, Kathy J. Wiseman and her husband, James.  He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Deborah J. Blake; son, Ryan A. Blake, and his wife, Rose, and daughter, Kari L. Coyle, and her husband, John, both of Deltaville; his mother, Evelyn M. Blake of Topping; sisters, Shirley Romano and her husband, Charles, of New Jersey and Dianne Zöller and her husband, Thomas, of Germany; brother, R. John Blake of Topping; brother-in-law Charles V. Struse, Sr. of Newport News; brother-in-law Eddie E. Jones of Gloucester; good friend George R. Apsley of Topping; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 12, at Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping, with interment in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Arrangements are being handled byBristow-Faulkner Funeral Home& Cremation Service,Saluda.
