Thomas Joseph Green Sr.

Thomas Joseph Green, Sr., 64, of Champlain, Virginia passed away peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2024. Thomas loved being outdoors and enjoyed time hunting, fishing and camping. He loved having a seafood boil and spending time with his family. Thomas also spent his time watching western movies, drinking coffee, and always had his pocket knives. He donated his hair to locks for love and supported wounded veterans. Most of all Thomas was a die-hard Dale Earnhardt fan. 

He is survived by his seven sons, T.J. Green Jr. (Yvonne Clarkson), David Green (Whitney), Joshua Green (Ashley), Daniel Green (Elizabeth), James Green (Amy), Matthew Green, Michael Green; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, William, Carol , John, and Diane Green, and Jersey Stanley. 

Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Green; parents, Robert and Louise Green; sister, Mary Louise Stanley and his best-friend John “Junior” Rouse. 

The family will receive friends from 5-8:00pm on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Green Family Cemetery, Tappahannock.
