Thomas E. Watson, Sr., age 72, a resident of Polk City, Florida passed away at his Williamsburg home on Thursday, December 19, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was founder and owner of Watson’s Petroleum Equipment Service, Inc. in Hampton. Survived by his wife Helen E. Watson; children, Thomas E. Watson, Jr. (Robin), Glenda Ann Watson, Tricia Watson Merson (Glenn); step-children, David James Kirkley, Jessica Elaine Kirkley; grandchildren, Jackie Renee Davis, Linda Marie Neuse, Amy Lynn Watson, Adelina Jewel Newman, Madyson Olyvia Merson, Kalli Paige Kirkley and a great grandson, Jackson Kenneth Davis. Sisters, Ann Stephenson, Myrna Alderman, Shirley Hardee; brothers, Darrell Watson and Billy Watson. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Sunday, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, Hampton where a memorial service will be held 11:00am Monday with inurnment in Parklawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Hampton.
