Tommy Pultz

October 3, 1958 — June 25, 2023

Tommy Pultz, a longtime resident of Gloucester, passed away on June 25, 2023, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital due to complications from COVID. Tommy was 64 and is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 40 years, Cindy and their beloved fur babies Wilson, Lucy and Harry.

Tommy is also survived by his mother, Linda Hahne of Hampton, and father, Frank Pultz of Gloucester; siblings - Tammy (Steve), Reese (Tammy P.), Sandy (James), Debbie, Yvette (Rob), Renee (Wade), Randy, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepfather Ray Hahne, stepmother Paula Pultz, brother Gregg Hahne, and both his maternal and paternal grandparents,

Tommy graduated from Gloucester High School and attended Longwood College, where he was a member of the fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon and gained many life-long friendships. He began working at a young age at the family campground and worked there for many years. During that time, Tommy saved the life of a man when he pulled him from a burning trailer. He later received the Woodmen of the World Award for his heroics. Tommy was working for his family’s company, Gloucester RV, at the time of his passing.

In between his years working for the family businesses, he had a career as a specialty mechanic performing gas conversions on government and city vehicles both nationally and internationally. He had many enjoyable stories to share with family and friends from those travels.

When not working, Tommy enjoyed fishing anywhere and vacationing in the Outer Banks, rebuilding classic Camaros and presenting them at car shows (resulting in nearly 100 trophies), and gardening. He also rehabilitated his and Cindy’s home and built a backyard oasis where they made many happy memories and held fun gatherings for family and friends.

Tommy was always happy to help a family member, friend or neighbor and will be deeply missed.
