Vivian Cora Caroline Kennard Wilson, 97, of Deltaville passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of Deltaville where she grew up on Jackson Creek and was home schooled on a schooner with her father. Vivian was an honorary member of the MCVRS Ladies Auxiliary for 41 years, where she and her deceased sister, Laura Medicus, founded “The Flea Market” to benefit the MCVRS which continues to thrive today. Past member of the Donna Chapter OES #179, Order of the Eastern Star, Deltaville, a member of Philippi Christian Church, and Nanny to most, she could take the simplest of items and turn them into something magical. She loved bingo, cooking, soft crabbing, and the company of her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Edwin W. Wilson of 71 years; parents Cora E. Shreeves Kennard and John A. Kennard; and son William (Billy) Wilson. She is survived by daughters Joyce W. Saunders and Mary Ellen Priddy (Mitchell); 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren as well as close friends & family who always found time for fellowship. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, December 23, 2016 in Philippi Christian Church, Deltaville.  Interment Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery, Deltaville.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial gifts may be made to Philippi Christian Church, PO Box 555 or the Middlesex County Vol. Rescue Squad Auxiliary, P.O.
