Wallace Rowe

Wallace V. Rowe, 89, of Topping, died Saturday, May 14, 2016. He was a retired salesman of lumber and building supplies, U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 8252. He was also a Deacon Emeritus, Sunday school teacher and choir member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ruby B. Rowe, and is survived by his son, Herbert W. Rowe (Betsi) of Topping and his granddaughters, Shelli R. Robertson (Troy) of White Stone and Ashley R. MacFarland (Keith) of Bel Air, MD. Funeral services will be held 2pm, Wednesday, May 18, 2016, in Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping. Interment church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harmony Grove Baptist Church, P.O. Box 138, Topping, VA 23169.
