Walter Creekmore

Walter N. Creekmore, III, 66, of Saluda passed away Monday, February 26, 2018. He was a member of Forest Chapel United Methodist Church and the widower of Jan Howell Creekmore. Walt retired from the Virginia State Police as a trooper in 2006 and then continued his law enforcement career as a U.S. Marshall where he retired in 2016. Survived by his children, Christen C. Phillips (Chris), Walter N. Creekmore, IV (Amy); his grandchildren, Spencer, Mason and Walter, V. Walt was also survived by his brother, Rufus C. Creekmore (Tina). The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda. A memorial service will be private.
