Walter Fitchett

Walter Thomas “Tommy” Fitchett, age 68, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017. He was an automotive technician most of his life and a member of Forest Chapel United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Grace M. Fitchett; brother, Downing Harper; and two sisters, Ann Milby and Bertha Dixon. He is survived by his companion, Reva Adkins; daughter, Patty Owens (Bruce) of Bedford, VA; son Shayne Fitchett (Angela) of Gloucester; grandchildren, Bradley Pratt and Brayden Fitchett; brother, Philip Harper (Glorious); sisters, Frances Carlton (Connie) and Thelma Wilson. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 in Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda with interment to follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Saluda. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 19 at the funeral home.
