Walter Gagajewski

Walter William “Scotty” Gagajewski, 79, born in Philadelphia, PA and resided in Mathews County, VA for the past 19 years, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022. He was a retiree of United Engineers and a proud member of the NRA and the Virginia Citizens Defense League. He was a true American Patriot who loved America, guns, and long walks in nature. The fondest memories of his children include sitting on his lap while he sang old country songs, fishing at Washington’s Crossing, and Hiking in Pennypack Park.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Elaine Tait Gagajewski; two sons, Walter and Anthony Gagajewski; a daughter, Angelique Piper and a sister, Clare Furmanski.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Windsor Garden Cemetery, Dutton, Virginia. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia is assisting the family with the arrangements.
