William Jackson Galbraith, Jr.
March 11, 1937 – 1-22-2016
Jack served his country in the Foreign Service as a diplomat and as an Officer in the Central Intelligence Agency.
He served several overseas tours and was a decorated officer.
After retiring, he moved to Mathews with his wife Harriet and became a professional artist. He enjoyed hunting fishing and novel writing. Jack had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Elizabeth Anne. He is survived by his wife, Harriet, son Lt. Col. Williams J. Galbraith, III (ret.), daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, granddaughters, Jaclyn and Julia.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
