William Shipley

William Warren Shipley, 84, of Cobbs Creek, son of deceased parents, James Vandorn and Carrie Shipley passed away on July 19, 2016. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Martha Collins and brother, James. V. Shipley.
He is survived by wife, June; son, Scott of Newport News and granddaughter, Leslie Shipley of Mathews. He was a member of Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Windsor Gardens Cemetery Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to Haynes Cemetery, P. O. Box 777, Cobbs Creek, Va. 23035 or the Youth of Mathews Chapel Church, P. O. Box 125, Cobbs Creek, Va. 23035. Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. is in charge of the arrangements.
