W. Marvin Tune

Willard Marvin Tune, 83, of Champlain, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024. He was a member of Upper Essex Baptist Church.  Marvin was a devoted husband, father, and friend. A retired plumbing/electrical contractor, he enjoyed traveling, woodworking, spending time on the water, and eating a crab or two.  
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Sanders Tune; his daughter, Michelle Tune Thompson, and his brother, Wayne Tune.
 
He is survived by his daughter, Melanie T. VanHuss (Tim), son in law, Todd Thompson, son in law; and grandchildren, Grant Thompson, Carly Thompson, Raines VanHuss, Elin VanHuss; and nephew, Matthew Sanders. The family would also like to recognize Coron Brown, a devoted caregiver and friend for Mr. and Mrs. Tune.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Upper Essex Baptist Church Cemetery, Caret, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Upper Essex Baptist Church, P.O. Box 225, Caret, Virginia, 22436.
