Woodrow S. Batley, age 63, of Deltaville, a civil engineer, draftsman and electrician died Saturday, September 22, 2012. He was a SGT, USAF and Vietnam Veteran. He is survived by two daughters, D. Michelle Croxton and her fiancé Omar Vega of Wake, and Stephanie A. Plummer and her husband Jeff of Firestone, CO.; 5 grandchildren, Sam, David, Arwen, Zoe and Nolan; two sisters Lorraine Smith (Jim) of Wake and Virginia Carr (Dennis) of Deltaville and one brother David Batley (Bonnie) also of Deltaville. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Tuesday in Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. Interment Philippi Memorial Gardens, Deltaville. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to Riverside Hospice, 7358 Main St., Gloucester, VA 23061.
