Yvonne Deagle

Yvonne Riley Deagle, 79, of Mathews, VA passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Riverside-Mathews Convalescent Center after a long, difficult fight against Multiple Sclerosis. She was born to Cecil and Mabel Riley on August 6, 1937 at their home in Bena. Yvonne was a very devoted daughter to her parents. Yvonne was a school bus driver for Mathews County Public Schools for over 40 years. She impacted the lives of many children over the years and she loved every one of them very much.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Eddie Deagle. She is survived by her daughter Shelia Wroten-Thompson and husband Bobby, grandson James Jarvis and wife Julie, granddaughter Amanda Wroten, great-granddaughter Melanie Jarvis, and former son-in-law Capt. Dale Wroten.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 1 – 2 pm at Church of the Nazarene, Hudgins, VA. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm, also at the Church. Burial will be in St. Paul Annex, Susan, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 723, Mathews, VA 23109.
